Introduction

This is much more than just "being on the computer". One sentence might be our roadmap : "Computers are tools, but also playgrounds". There is actually some fun in crafting a handmade solution to a problem you encounter while using a computer.

I recently switched to Linux on my personal computer. I had had enough of Microsoft and their aggressive push towards Windows 11.

I started studying programming on my own around the second half of high school, though at that time I was a very busy boy between tennis, theater club and all the work towards graduating from high school (in France, this is quite important). Let's give some names : HTML (and CSS), C, and I even tried some stuff on my TI-80 calculator. Later, at university, I learnt Java (I graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science) and figured out during my Master's that I loved statistics. The buzzword at that time was "Data Mining". Later, it was all about Data Science, and today we would talk about AI stuff.
